Bass guitar is similar to the electric guitar but it has a longer neck and found commonly with 4 or 5 strings. As the name goes it amplifies the lower bass notes. This guitar is used as a solo instrument for Jazz, Fusion and Funk music. It is also commonly used for Rock, Pop, Punk, Reggae, Gospel, Country and Metal genres.
